The nominal diameter of the pin is the same as the receiving hole diameter. The recommended hole tolerance is ISO H12. After insertion, the plus tolerance of the pins results in a vibration-proof seating. The pins can be easily removed using a mandrel and reused several times. The pins can transmit high shear forces and are resistant to shocks and impacts due to their spring properties. The values specified for the shear force only apply to spring steel.
